Interview with Ms. Rita Nik Farjam:
(Founder and manager of Rita Nik Farjam Jewelry Galleries)
I am Rita Nikfarjam, a jewelry designer and sculptor from Tehran, a graduate of pure mathematics and with an art degree in the field of precious stone cutting from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. I started my activity in 2007 with the idea of reviving ancient art and with the aim of introducing it more to the people of Iran and other countries.
The “artistic degree” and “recreation” of these jewels led to the receipt of a “registration mark” for Rita Gallery jewelry from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and the Cultural Heritage Organization, and with it, I was able to obtain the US GS1 International Certificate and a Certificate of Appreciation from the Algerian Embassy. And receive an international certificate from the London School of Marketing.
I am currently a member of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Mines and Agriculture, and I am a member of the board of directors of the National Union of Gold, Silver and Precious Stones and the Association of Exporters and Importers of Handicrafts.
I am also an educational instructor in the Cultural Heritage Organization and I have received the top rank and the moonlight award from the Fajr International Fashion and Clothing Festival in 1997.
In addition, I have been judging the jewelry section of the Sipal National Fashion Festival in 1997 and as the gallery manager of the Sipal National Fashion and Costume Festival in 1998. I am currently working as the Policy Council and Planning Commission of Cipal 99.
In addition to these activities, I work as a member of the Ambassadors for Peace and Friendship, a non-governmental organization that advises the United Nations in Tehran, with the aim of promoting a culture of peace, and I have recently established a club called the Iranian Creativity Club.
Since 1987, I have taken the first steps of production from a small and individual workshop, but with a new and creative mind. The love and interest in this ancient art, which has unfortunately been forgotten, caused me to make every effort to revive and introduce it in the country and the world, and with this goal, I seek to teach this valuable and original art and transfer my experiences to Fans, let me come and revive the name of dear Iran along with another art in the world. One of the hallmarks of my work is perseverance and constant effort, and I always believe that what I do should be specific and different, and when I finally do it honestly, with energy and love, I will receive many times that energy. So I decided to create worthy works with full of energy and with a lot of love. I started the basic stone cutting from a stone cutting workshop in Turkey. After a while, I realized that the characteristic of all these things is that they do not shine enough.
After several months of work, practice and gaining experience, I finally found and presented a way to give lasting radiance to the stones and make its beauty more lasting.
Other activities of “Rita Gallery” are related to the year 1989, which has been in various fields of exploration, processing, construction, improvement, identification and trade, and providing technical and specialized services, and has tried Iranian civilization and culture, beliefs and habits. And to introduce the Iranian way of thinking in the form of art to the compatriots of the world.
At present, Rita School and Gallery, with 13 years of experience, is training in making, carving and decorating all kinds of jewelry from precious stones and jewelry to those who are interested, along with providing a valid certificate to students, as well as presenting international ID cards to dear buyers.
Important indicators must be considered in jewelry design. Type of view, type of style, type of applied material and…
But the important thing to consider in jewelry design is the transfer of feeling and energy and turning it into a work of art.
Unfortunately, due to the sanctions imposed on Iran, the import of this type of stone has become much more difficult than before, and if there are imports, it has huge costs, so it is expected that government agencies and agencies related to products and industries Manually monitor the import of these stones and set a budget to facilitate partners who are active in this field. Given that I in the Chamber of Commerce of Industries, Mines and Agriculture, as well as the World Council of Handicrafts and in the board of directors of the National Union of Gold, Silver and Precious Stones, I tried for years to activate the organizations of precious stones for import. Fortunately, we are nearing the final stages so that we can facilitate the activities of Rita Gallery and its students by importing stones with government currency in terms of price, so that they can bring more works into the domestic and international market.
In answer to the second part of the question, I must say that precious stones, which are full of positive energy, have long been of interest to human beings. These stones, which are the result of millions of years of passage and endurance of all kinds of pressures and climate change, when placed in the hands of an artist and are ready to be displayed and displayed, undoubtedly transfer the energy contained in them to humans.
In many Persian poems and literary texts, jewelry and precious stones and their impact on life have been mentioned, which indicates that this phenomenon has long been considered by the Iranian people.
Today, the world of gemstone trade has expanded so much that the value of gemstone exchanges reaches several hundred billion dollars a year, and although Iran is very rich in terms of gemstone resources and several pieces of important stones and Applied in the jewelry industry such as turquoise, agate and… is specific to Iran and the ancient Iranians were very skilled in the field of cutting precious stones, but since this art is traditionally done in our country and can not share Account for significant global trade.
I am a member of the board of directors of the National Union of Gold, Silver and Precious Stones, an educational instructor of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization for carving precious stones as a carving, a member of the Handicrafts Council, through which I am finalizing organizations in the Chamber of Commerce. .
We are cooperating and working with several embassies.
I have been working with the Cipal National Fashion Festival for three years as a judge on the jury, managing the festival gallery and as a policy-making council, commission and planning, and now and recently I have established the Iranian Creativity Club.
Yes, Sure.
The Iranian Creativity Club was established on the basis of a memorandum of understanding signed between Rita Nikfarjam Jewelry Gallery and the group of Ambassadors of Peace and Friendship in November 2016, and started its activities with the slogan of borderless love, creating surprises and dreaming of peace.
With the priority of cultural issues, supporting the industries related to the identity and history of the country and focusing on different sections of Iranian art, this club has provided a platform to cause more connection and synergy between those involved in these fields to achieve a regular working paradigm. Promote the country’s public and cultural diplomacy, as well as implement projects related to culture, science and industry.
All people who have some kind of skill or activity in the mentioned fields or are concerned about the growth and development of themselves and their community can enter the Iranian Creativity Club and workgroups and enjoy its benefits.
Yes sure. Rita Gallery also has an educational section and those interested in this field are promised that if they complete the course at Rita Gallery and obtain a certificate, due to the approval of this certificate by the Cultural Heritage Organization and the technical and professional organization of the country, activity license from Receive the cultural heritage organization and the certificate of competency from the technical and professional organization of the country. In this way, it is possible for them to go through the process of entering and joining the working group of Iranian art and industry under the supervision of the National Union of Gold, Silver and Precious Stones.
We carve the stones as carving and we can use gold metal inside these cut stones according to the request of our audience.
One of the favorite stones of Iranians is Neishabour turquoise, which is specific to Iran and is famous in the world. I realized how famous this stone is in the world.
Next to this stone, many sections of the society such as ruby, sapphire and emerald are among the stones that are very popular among Iranians due to their attractive color.
Labradorite is another rock that is in great demand due to its rainbow glitter.
Stones such as opal and androsite, which are more in demand in other countries. Androsite stone has been very attractive to people due to the presence of rutiles that are created over millions of years. Here you can see one of my works that I carved with androsite stone in the picture.
These experiences are from my presence in international and national exhibitions inside and outside the country, and of course it should be mentioned that due to the great variety of stones and their color variety, Rita Gallery and brand has the ability to make all the stones. Advise and offer according to the tastes of the people and in accordance with the desired design.
Yes; Rita brand has institutionalized this art with international goals and has tried to present its profession and art in the world, and fortunately, it has gained positions and ranks in national and international exhibitions and festivals, some of which I point out
Rita Gallery team is proud to be active in the field of humanitarian activities in addition to all its artistic and professional activities and gaining honors, including the performance of an orchestra for the benefit of the flood victims of Golestan in 1397. Which was very well received and with the presence of famous and valuable professors in this ceremony, we all showed along with the Rita Gallery team that humanity is an important part of Iranian culture and originality.
I suggest that those interested in this field increase their knowledge of the world of stones.
These people can increase their knowledge by reading educational, historical books, articles and references related to the world of jewelry and precious stones, and visiting various museums, and progress in this field with their own ideas and creativity, and be sure if with love. Walk in this arena, they will receive positive energy and unparalleled peace.
Rita Gallery team and I will make sure that we are with the fans with our guidance and we will be ready to transfer our experiences for the development of these loved ones.
Thanks
Rita Nick Farjam
